Partnering with GEM for Wildfire Relief

Thanks to the guidance of fearless founder Lysa Heslov and Grant Heslov, CMH came together to assist GEM (Global Empowerment Mission) as they began a large, coordinated response to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Over the day we watched as an empty warehouse transformed into an active response center, the GEM Bstrong LA Center. We were so moved by this show of empathy.

Over the days that followed, the team (which included some of our Watts youth!) prepared Family Necessity Kits for those effected by the wildfires.

These Family Necessity Kits included food, water, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, PPE, and more.
