Fire Donation Centers & GUESS Donation

Thank you to our incredible board member, Caroline Marciano, who responded to this crisis instantaneously and had GUESS donate new clothing for us to deliver to those who had been impacted by the wildfires.

Pallets of clothes were delivered on multiple days, giving us thousands of articles of high quality and comfortable clothing. We wanted everyone who received this clothing to feel like they were receiving a warm hug from people who cared.

Our students and volunteers were able to go through the clothes and create complete sets sorted by size. This helped the donation centers we partnered with, who in turn was able to more easily help those affected get exactly what they needed.

We have been lucky to work with some incredible organizations who were also doing work to help those impacted by the fires to get the assistance they need.

To help us distribute the clothing from GUESS to those in need, we worked with The Pasadena Job Center, It’s Bigger Than Us, the LA Dream Center, and Sisters of Watts.
