Meeting With the State of CA Chief Service Officer

At the end of June, Children Mending Hearts was invited to present to HACLA (Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles) and to the State of California’s Chief Service Officer, Josh Fryday, and Luis Jimenez, the External and Legislative Affairs Director.

We were able to share the work we are doing to engage youth/adults in education, career-building and providing interventions and unique opportunities to empower residents & access to opportunity. We especially focused on telling personal stories of the people we work with day in and day out.
